Saturday, 1:00 am. Strange man pounds on our neighbor's door. They didn't answer, scared out of their wits. Saturday, 3:00 pm. Strange man comes back and says "You're Mr. Cornelius." When our neighbor answers the door. Neighbor says "No sir, you're mistaken." The stranger leaves without giving a name. Our neighbor informs us of this Sunday evening around 7:00 pm. We (my family and I) went to bed rather on edge that night because someone for one, frightened the nice people down the street, and two, strange men were looking for us. Sunday morning, 3:04 pm. I was awakened by shouting and fighting and look out my window to see two men with a tow truck hooking up my dad's car. The larger man was physically threatening my father and saying that the car was theirs and for him to get the **** back. Without documentation or ANY sort of fair warning such as mail or a phone call, the bank repossessed the car. Both men were extremely rude and violent and the only thing for us to do is try and forgive them. I can only imagine what a tough job RePo can be and how many people they have to tell "I'm taking your car/house/whatever-the-bank-owns and there's nothing you can do about it."

SO, here's where you come in. I don't like asking for stuff like this and can't think of a time in the past when I have, but ever since I've opened commissions, NO ONE has bought anything, not even a sketch. I don't blame anyone, but I'm pleading with some one, any one, to buy something, even if it's a sketch. ALL of the proceeds will go towards this issue. Every little bit helps. If you can't offer money, please offer thoughts and prayers. Just when you think you're comfortable, something like this comes at you with no warning like a thief in the night.
